I'm a copywriter with more than five years experience. And though I've been writing for a very long time, I started my professional career as... a web-designer.
Web-design seemed to be the best way of using my creativity, but it was the false impression. I could never make a brilliant expert in this field… only mediocre. So one day i had quitted web-design and taken up copywriting. Thus I have finally “found myself”...
I always loved writing, since my childhood. I wrote stories, essays, articles and published them to various blogs. I considered it to be just a hobby and didn't seriously think of earning through my writer's abilities... Copywriting made me see new possibilities.
As a designer I used to face challenges that could not handle. For example, a high-class designer should have the makings of an artist and see the world in a certain way. Alas, I am not a painter, I'm a writer... sometimes it was a hindrance.
In web-design I found it hard to compete with the top of bests. But I have no such problems in copywriting. Of course, there are still complicated tasks, even very complicated, but I am more confident of myself and my professionalism. I believe in my ability to overcome all difficulties and achieve superior results.
But the main thing making my new profession so wonderful, is the pleasure that writing process’s giving to me. I’d never thought before l would be able to enjoy my job! But I do now...
Thanks to the copywriting, job brings me both money and pleasure. And it’s a very important factor, since we spend so much time working… Certainly, the ability to enjoy the work process is a really good bonus to the salary… don't you agree?
